It is the mission of the Darke County Educational Service Center to provide

quality service to our clients by working collaboratively and providing

leadership to our community of learners in their pursuit of excellence.

 

Our Vision

The Darke County Educational Service Center will continue to expand, promote, and develop programs and services.  The ESC will engage students, teachers, administrators, and the entire community in the educational process.

It is the mission of Anthony Wayne and Care-a-Lot Early Childhood Center to offer Darke County families affordable, quality early childhood education and care; as well as to help them prepare for the next step in education.

The Darke County ESC provides curriculum, pupil, and technology services. Our dedicated, professional staff is committed to supporting administrators, teachers, and aides in promoting student achievement through public education.

We Have Community.
Our district boasts the highest percentage of parent volunteers in the state.

 

We Have Heart.
We're the only district in the country with a dedicated "Squirrel Crossing Guard" at Oakwood Elementary.

We Have History.
Our district's first schoolhouse was built in 1852 and is now a beloved local landmark.

 

We Have Success.
We have a 99%+ graduation rate - a testament to our dedicated teachers and motivated students.
